Safety Rally: Pathway to a Safer Work Environment

Construction safety is a non-negotiable priority for MSE Engenharia. With a firm commitment to putting life first, valuing our employees, caring for our planet, acting responsibly and evolving together, we developed the “Safety Rally”. This event not only reinforces our commitment to safety, health, and the environment, but it also strengthens the awareness and critical sense of our employees about these crucial issues.

The Safety Rally has a clear purpose: to improve understanding and compliance with procedures and obligations related to occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations at our construction sites and construction activities. This initiative aims to create an interdependent safety culture, in which each employee understands that their action or omission affects not only their safety, but that of the entire team.

In addition, the Rally seeks to develop the critical sense of our employees, encouraging them to question, suggest improvements and be constantly alert regarding safety, health, and the environment in their work environments.

In the Safety Rally, our teams are comprised of a maximum of 15 employees. Each team is identified by an alphabetical letter, represented by a unique identification seal. Initially, all teams start with 3,000 points.

During the month, teams have the opportunity to win or lose points based on their performance in relation to safety, health, and the environment. To encourage safe behavior, teams that have no occurrences or deviations in these aspects receive a bonus of 100 points at the end of the week. On the other hand, infractions, such as the lack of use of safety equipment, disorganization in the workplace, and other irregularities, result in the loss of points.

The main objective is for the team to reach the end of the month with the highest number of accumulated points and the lowest number of points lost, thus becoming the winner of the Safety Rally.

To recognize and reward the collaborators' efforts, we offer a series of prizes to the winners of the Rally: one for each member of the team, another of higher value that is drawn among the members of the winning team, and a third prize, which is awarded to the team's Outstanding Collaborator.

The Safety Rally is not just a competition, but a collective journey towards a safer and more sustainable work environment. At MSE Engenharia, we believe that safety is everyone's responsibility, and the Rally is a significant step toward that vision.
