In the first week of November, the headquarters of MSE Engenharia, located in Londrina, Paraná, hosted important training aimed at the safety and health of employees. The focus of this initiative was Regulatory Standard 33 (NR 33), which deals specifically with working in confined spaces.

The training was conducted by Juliano Correa de Freitas, a specialist at the company 2J Treinamentos, based in Campo Mourão, PR. Juliano, with experience in the area, shared knowledge about the safe practices and procedures necessary when dealing with confined spaces, in order to guarantee the physical integrity and health of workers.

NR 33 establishes the necessary safety measures for entry and operation in confined spaces, which are environments not designed for continuous human occupation and which have limited means of entry and exit. These locations may include tanks, vases, silos, and other similar spaces, where the presence of workers involves significant risks.

The importance of this training lies in preventing accidents and promoting a safer work environment. By understanding the requirements of NR 33, MSE Engenharia employees are now better able to identify and control the risks associated with confined spaces, in addition to taking appropriate measures in emergency situations.
