The use of AI as an integrative part of MSE employees

Surely you've heard about Artificial Intelligence. If until some time ago, some people still didn't know it, ChatGPT arrived and brought up the subject with more force, making the topic even better known.

AI exists and is not a thing of today. It has been talked about in movies, series and books for years, and is now increasingly present in the daily lives of individuals and companies. Here at MSE, we use A.I. in some situations, but we'll talk about that.

There is a great deal of discussion about the extent to which Artificial Intelligence will evolve, promoting interesting debates. To better understand what this term is about, it is important to know its origin.

Although better known today, the first idea of artificial intelligence came from Greek philosophers and had a great advance starting in the 20th century. AI is an area of computer science that studies the search for machine reasoning, that is, the ability of a machine to reproduce in an intelligent and exact way the same competencies as us humans. Logical reasoning, behavior adaptation, dealing with problems.

With technological advancement, AI was developed through data processing, cognitive science. Today, it branches into several areas and can be applied to basically everything, from the creation of text, images and videos, algorithms that know your online behavior, robots working in factories, autonomous cars and more technologies that have emerged.

Use of AI in MSE

Here at MSE, we use artificial intelligence to integrate new employees into the company and also to access content that matters in their daily lives. We have the MSE Academy, a site where every employee has access to exclusive MSE content.

The content is created by a writer after much conversation and learning with the managers of each sector. From this, the script is passed to the system that provides, through artificial intelligence, avatars, voices and the option to create various types of videos.

After the script is ready, the video is created and edited. Through this program, in addition to the avatar, it is possible to choose different soundtracks, types of voices, photos, videos and animations to complement the video.

The content is then made available to our employees, in a practical, agile, intuitive and fun way.

They contain daily processes in each area, as well as videos about MSE, mission, vision, values, behavior, tips on sustainability, safety, and everything our employee needs to know about MSE, its competencies and what we expect from it.

AI is there, being part of people's and companies' lives. I believe that with good management, it can offer good opportunities and results for various areas, such as education, engineering, transportation, infrastructure and many others.
