Last Saturday, our managers, managers, and area coordinators were able to participate in a training on positive energy at work and in life. The minister was the mentor PatrĂcia Viana, who has been working with people for 15 years, helping companies to work with the trust of managers and leaders.

The training “10 principles to fuel your life and your work with positive energy” was held on Saturday, February 17, where leaders from areas made dynamics and presented some solutions for their daily work.

We talked a bit with PatrĂcia and here you will be able to check out a bit about the book and what she offers in her mentoring work.

MSE: How were you introduced to this book and how did it influence your own ideas about positive energy?
Patrícia: I discovered the book through the recommendation of the company MSE itself, I hadn't read it yet, but I thought it was incredible. The principles were already based on values that I have for my life and topics that I already minister and it only strengthened my beliefs in this regard. As the author says: “Nobody goes through life without facing some kind of difficulty, and in those moments, the solution is positive energy.” Jon Gordon and it's true.
MSE: Do you believe that today, having an attitude and a positive mind is much more difficult than a few years ago? Why?
PatrĂcia: The perception that having a positive attitude and mind is more difficult nowadays can be influenced by a number of factors. For example, increased stress, social pressure, professional demands, as well as the saturation of negative information on social media and news can contribute to a greater sense of challenge in maintaining a positive attitude. In addition, cultural, political, and economic changes over time can affect people's mentality and the way they view the world. For example, periods of economic uncertainty or political crises can lead to increased anxiety and pessimism. I believe that each historical period has its own unique challenges, and the perception of difficulty may vary from person to person and according to the individual context. Finding ways to cultivate a positive and resilient attitude can be challenging, but it remains a valuable skill in any era.
MSE: Can you highlight some tips presented during the training and how they can help guide people to have positive energy at work and in private life?
PatrĂcia: I'm going to share the principles we work on, we can use them as a guide on this path.
Principle 1: YOU ARE THE DRIVER OF YOUR BUS!
2nd Principle: DESIRE, VISION, AND FOCUS TAKE YOUR BUS IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!
Principle 3: FUEL YOUR BUS WITH POSITIVE ENERGY
4th Principle: INVITE PEOPLE TO BOARD YOUR BUS AND SHARE THE VISION OF THE ROAD AHEAD!
5th Principle: DON'T WASTE ENERGY ON THOSE WHO HAVEN'T BOARDED YOUR BUS
6th Principle: STICK A SIGN ON YOUR BUS SAYING ENERGY VAMPIRES ARE PROHIBITED
7th Principle: ENTHUSIASM ATTRACTS MORE PASSENGERS AND GIVES THEM ENERGY DURING THE TRIP
8th Principle: LOVE YOUR PASSENGERS
9th Principle: DRIVE WITH PURPOSE!
10th Principle: HAVE FUN AND ENJOY THE TRIP!
MSE: How do you expect MSE employees to apply these principles to their lives and work after training?
During the training, it was proposed to carry out action plans for personal and professional life (career), now it is time to enter the field and implement these outlined actions. And to go beyond that, is really acting as an ambassador of positive energy, passing on and encouraging those principles to the other members of the team.

MSE: One last tip, from PatrĂcia, for our blog readers.
A tip for cultivating a positive attitude and disseminating positive energy is to practice the “mirror effect”. The “mirror effect” involves reflecting the energy you wish to receive from others. Be kind, generous, and optimistic with co-workers, even in challenging situations. By acting like this, you create a positive cycle where the positivity you emanate is reflected back to you, creating a more harmonious and productive work environment for everyone.
Remind her that positivity is contagious. By adopting a positive attitude and disseminating positive energy, it will not only benefit yourself, but it will also positively influence those around you, creating a more collaborative and inspiring work environment.
