Eurofarma’s new plant in Montes Claros (MG) represents one of the most ambitious projects in Brazil’s pharmaceutical sector. With approximately 250,000 m² of built area and a 29-month execution schedule, the project required a high level of technical integration, strategic planning, and innovation. Over the course of more than 20,000 hours of engineering, MSE Engenharia was responsible for transforming a highly complex project into a modern, efficient, and sustainable facility.

Every square meter of this project reflects the strength of engineering that builds the future.

Technical complexity and high performance

The contract included complete electromechanical installations, encompassing electrical, hydraulic, and automation systems. Execution in classified pharmaceutical environments (cleanrooms) required strict quality control, millimeter precision, and full compliance with international industry standards.

Multidisciplinary coordination through a 3D BIM platform was essential to ensure compatibility between disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and HVAC, minimizing interferences and optimizing project progress.

High performance is born from the balance between technology, control, and specialization.

Technical scope and integrated solutions

MSE executed a highly technical scope, which included:

  • Medium- and low-voltage electrical installations;

  • Black utilities piping (chilled water, steam, compressed air) and Clean utilities (purified water, industrial and medical gases);

  • Fire protection systems with sprinklers, hydrants, and automated detection;
  • Fire protection systems with sprinklers, hydrants, and automated detection;

These solutions were essential to meet Eurofarma’s operational requirements, which prioritize safety, energy efficiency, and reliability.

Complete solutions for high-precision results.

Infrastructure and operational strength

At the peak of execution, the project involved more than 500 professionals, supported by a robust operational structure:

  • A fully equipped 7,141 m² job site;

  • Three full-time cranes (80, 110, and 220 tons);

  • An in-house truck fleet and a dedicated adjacent maintenance area;

  • An MSE branch in Montes Claros, providing direct operational and logistical support.

The numbers reflect the scale of the challenge: 580 tons of steel structures, 400 tons of installed piping, 12,000 sprinkler heads, 120,000 meters of cables, and seven substations assembled.

Each number represents a milestone in the efficiency and commitment of the MSE team.

Innovation that drives the future

More than a construction milestone, this project symbolizes the union of cutting-edge engineering and a commitment to the future. Eurofarma’s new facility reinforces MSE’s role as a strategic partner in highly complex developments capable of transforming industrial infrastructure and strengthening the local economy.

More than 20,000 hours of engineering, dedication, and innovation building tomorrow.
