MSE Engenharia was responsible for developing the Conceptual, Basic, and Executive Projects for the expansion of Coca-Cola FEMSA's auxiliary warehouses in Itabirito/MG.

As the largest bottler in the Coca-Cola System by volume, Coca-Cola FEMSA continuously invests in expanding its logistics and production infrastructure, aiming for greater operational efficiency, storage capacity, and integration between industrial systems.

Industrial and logistics projects require infrastructure prepared for growth, high performance, and operational integration.

Expansion focused on logistics and production operations

The project includes approximately 12,000 m² of area designated for the expansion of auxiliary warehouses around a self-supporting vertical warehouse at the industrial unit.

The project was designed to support:

  • Storage of new products
  • Implementation of a new production line
  • Expansion of operational capacity
  • Integration with existing structures
  • Optimization of logistics and production flows

The solutions were developed considering operational efficiency, safety, and flexibility for future plant demands.

Industrial expansion requires integrated planning across infrastructure, logistics, and production operations.

Multidisciplinary engineering applied to the project

MSE Engenharia's work involved integrated solutions across various technical disciplines, ensuring system compatibility and executive efficiency.

The scope includes:

  • Conceptual Design
  • Basic Design
  • Detailed Design
  • Architecture
  • Earthworks
  • Stormwater Drainage
  • Structures and Side Cladding
  • Industrial Flooring
  • Plumbing Systems
  • HVAC
  • Electrical Systems
  • Fire Protection and Suppression System

This multidisciplinary approach allows for greater technical control and alignment between operational needs and the plant's infrastructure.

Integration between disciplines is essential to ensure industrial performance, safety, and reliability.

Infrastructure prepared for high operational demand

The civil, structural, and building solutions were designed to support the operational demands of a large-scale industrial plant, considering durability, safety, and construction efficiency.

Electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems were developed to ensure continuous operational support, while fire protection and suppression systems guarantee regulatory compliance and operational safety for the unit.

Additionally, the project includes stormwater drainage solutions and industrial flooring designed to withstand high operational loads and intense logistical flows.

Efficient industrial infrastructures are essential for ensuring productivity and operational continuity.

Engineering applied to industrial and logistics expansion

MSE Engenharia's involvement in the project reinforces its expertise in highly complex industrial and logistics projects, from conceptual stages to the executive detailing required for implementation.

The project represents another strategic investment aimed at modernizing Coca-Cola FEMSA's productive and logistics infrastructure in Brazil.

Developing industrial infrastructure means creating solutions prepared for growth, efficiency, and operational evolution.
