The expansion of industrial and logistics operations requires engineering solutions capable of integrating productivity, infrastructure, and operational safety into a single project.

With this focus, MSE Engenharia was responsible for the Conceptual, Basic, and Detailed Engineering development for the expansion of Softys' Distribution Center and manufacturing area in Piraí/RJ.

The project includes new logistics and industrial structures aimed at increasing the unit's operational capacity, enhancing the efficiency of production and storage flows.

Modern industrial and logistics projects require integration between infrastructure, technology, and operations.

Expansion of logistics and manufacturing infrastructure

The project includes the implementation of a new logistics warehouse spanning approximately 15,000 m², in addition to the expansion of the manufacturing area and adjustments to support structures within the industrial plant.

The solutions include:

  • New logistics warehouse
  • Administrative mezzanine
  • Expansion of manufacturing area
  • New pallet recovery area
  • Cafeteria expansion
  • Retrofit of existing changing rooms

The expansion plan was developed to ensure better operational organization, logistics optimization, and efficient integration between production and administrative areas.

Efficient industrial infrastructures are the result of technical planning aligned with the plant's operational needs.

Multidisciplinary engineering applied to the project

MSE Engineering's involvement included the complete development of all technical disciplines required to facilitate the unit's expansion.

The scope included:

  • Conceptual Engineering
  • Basic Engineering
  • Detailed Engineering
  • Architecture
  • Earthworks
  • Drainage
  • Paving
  • Foundations
  • Steel Structures
  • Low Voltage Electrical Installations
  • Lightning Protection System (LPS)
  • Data, Voice, and CCTV
  • HVAC
  • Fire Protection System (FPS)
  • Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS)

This multidisciplinary integration contributes to greater technical compatibility, project execution efficiency, and operational reliability.

Coordination between disciplines is essential to ensure performance, safety, and construction efficiency.

Safety and infrastructure for industrial operations

In addition to civil and industrial solutions, the project includes systems designed to protect facilities and ensure the operational continuity of the unit.

Key highlights include:

  • Fire Prevention and Fighting System (SPCI)
  • Fire Detection and Alarm System (SDAI)
  • Lightning Protection System (SPDA)
  • Monitoring and telecommunications infrastructure

The systems were developed to ensure compliance with technical standards and enhance operational safety for the industrial and logistics plant.

Industrial safety relies on integrated systems designed for rapid operational response.

Engineering focused on operational growth

MSE Engenharia's involvement in the project reinforces its expertise in developing highly complex industrial and logistics solutions, from conceptual stages to complete technical detailing.

This project represents another instance of the company's work in ventures aimed at modernizing productive and logistics infrastructure, contributing to operational efficiency, sustainable growth, and industrial evolution.

Expanding industrial infrastructure means preparing operations for increased productivity, integration, and competitiveness.
