MSE Engenharia carried out the survey As Built using 3D scanning with Laser Scanner technology at the facilities of IGC – Iguaçu Café Solúvel, in Cornélio Procópio/PR.
Recognized as one of the largest instant coffee producers in Brazil and worldwide, IGC specializes in the production of freeze-dried, agglomerated, and spray-dried coffee, as well as roasted and ground coffee, cappuccino, and coffee with milk.
Digital survey technologies enhance precision, reduce interferences, and increase the efficiency of industrial projects.
High-precision 3D survey
The work carried out by MSE Engenharia included a detailed scan of the industrial plant's roasting facility and substation, allowing for an accurate record of the existing infrastructure conditions.
From the 3D capture performed with a Laser Scanner, it was possible to generate a precise technical basis for:
- Modeling of the electrical infrastructure
- System integration
- Analysis of existing facilities
- Planning for future interventions
- Integration between industrial buildings
The solutions were developed considering millimeter precision and the reliability of information obtained in the field.

The accuracy of existing information is crucial to ensure efficiency in industrial adaptation and expansion projects.
Laser Scanner Technology applied to industrial engineering
Laser Scanner is an advanced technology used to digitally capture environments and structures through laser beams, generating a highly detailed three-dimensional point cloud.
This technology allows for the creation of digital models that accurately reflect the real conditions of the facility, offering benefits such as:
- Reduced rework
- Better coordination between disciplines
- Increased technical predictability
- Schedule optimization
- Reduced operational costs
Furthermore, the three-dimensional survey allows for safer and more accurate analyses before on-site interventions begin.
