MSE Engenharia It was responsible for the execution of Laser Scanner and 3D Modeling services to support the assembly of industrial equipment of Bühler Group.
A leading Swiss multinational in industrial process technology, Bühler develops solutions for food production — such as flour, chocolate, pasta and feed — and for advanced materials, including die casting and paint milling. The works were carried out in the units of Moreno (PE), Lucas do Rio Verde (MT), São Paulo (SP) and Tres Arroyos, in Argentina, focusing on the geometric precision of existing structures and on the three-dimensional compatibility between equipment and plant infrastructure.

The laser scanner is a cutting-edge technology that uses laser beams to capture, in an extremely precise way, the physical characteristics of an environment or structure. This capture generates a cloud of three-dimensional dots that faithfully represent the scanned space. From this point cloud, it is possible to create detailed and georeferenced 3D models, essential for the analysis, planning, and execution of projects in various areas, such as engineering, architecture and civil construction.
These models allow us to visualize and simulate the real environment with millimeter precision, being especially valuable in retrofit projects, where it is necessary to work with existing structures and ensure that new interventions are perfectly integrated. The laser scanner is also widely used in topographic surveys, historical heritage documentation, and in the analysis of complex infrastructures, such as industrial plants and piping systems.
In addition to precision, the laser scanner offers benefits such as the reduction of rework, optimization of budgets and schedules, and greater safety in interventions, since it allows a detailed analysis even before the start of the works. This results in significant time and cost savings, while increasing project quality and reliability.
